Key Features of The Copper Age Update

• Copper Golem – Crafted with Copper and Carved Pumpkins, this new companion automates base organization by sorting items from the Copper Chest into nearby storage.

• Copper Chest – Works alongside the Copper Golem to streamline inventory management.

• Copper Golem Statue – Once fully oxidized, the Copper Golem becomes a statue. Players can restore it with an axe, removing the patina.

• Copper Golem Poses – As statues, Copper Golems strike one of four unique poses that can be cycled through by interacting with them.

• Redstone Integration – Copper Golem Statues can emit Redstone signals based on their poses, adding new automation possibilities.

• Copper Tools & Weapons – Copper can now be forged into tools, weapons, and armor with durability between stone and iron.

• Copper Armor – A new armor tier stronger than leather but slightly weaker than iron, including helmets, chestplates, leggings, boots, and horse armor.

• Shelf Block – Players can display up to three items and quickly swap them with their hotbar. When powered by Redstone, shelves can cycle multiple items at once.

• Oxidizing Lightning Rods – Lightning rods now age visually, shifting from orange to green as they oxidize.

• Copper Lanterns, Torches, Chains, and Bars – New decorative and functional blocks for lighting and building creativity.

• Revamped Dye Icons – Each dye now features a distinct shape for improved accessibility and quick identification.

• Iron Golem & Copper Golem Interaction – Iron Golems will occasionally gift Copper Golems flowers, which the latter adorably place on their heads.

Following the Copper Age reveal, Mojang also teased the next big update: Mounts of Mayhem. Arriving in Holiday 2025, this update introduces brand-new mounts for land and underwater exploration, along with new weapons for both players and mobs. Perhaps the most exciting addition is the long-awaited arrival of the Zombie Horse in Survival Mode, after being exclusive to Creative Mode for years.
